The National Transportation Qualifications These qualifications are based on the NVQ Framework, following the development of standards by the Construction Industry Council after extensive work with those employed within the transportation industry and are applicable to all professionals who are involved in this sector. The qualifications seek to address the changing role and nature of the transportation sector and, at different levels, provide an integrated suite of awards comprising core and option units. Great care has been taken to ensure that the standards and qualifications’ structure is flexible enough to accommodate the many and varied roles that exist across the UK along with encouraging a consistent provision nationally.
