CASL has been a leading Pearson approved Assessment centre for Construction Management and Supervision NVQ’s at levels 3, 4, 6 and 7, based in Monmouth, South Wales since 2002.
CASL Group is managed by experienced professionals who are committed to the vocational approach and who appreciate the challenges for learners who are in full time employment.
Our qualified assessors have significant experience and knowledge of the construction sector and pride themselves on giving personal, one-to-one guidance, support and encouragement to our learners from induction to completion.

Managing Director Internal Verifier & AssessorLance set up CASL in 2002 after more than 35 years in civil engineering and is passionate about helping individuals transfer their proven management abilities into internationally recognised qualifications and professional membership.
Christine Saunders
DirectorChristine joined the CASL board in 2010. With 20 years spent working in the customer service and financial sector, Christine brings experience and support to the CASL Team.
Jayne Dunstan
Finance ManagerJayne joined the business in 2008. With a background in accounting Jayne oversees all areas of finance including cash management, tax preparation and provides financial analysis for the board to determine company profitability.
Vanessa Dawes
Centre ManagerVanessa joined the business in 2014. With a background in client services from a practice and corporate perspective, Vanessa works relentlessly with CASL customers to help them obtain their vocational qualification, CSCS card and professional membership.
Peter Hider
Internal Verifier & AssessorHaving had more than 35 years in the construction industry Peter joined CASL in 2003 as an Internal Verifier and Assessor. Peter is dedicated to supporting individuals and maintaining standards in vocational qualifications.
John Clarke
Internal Verifier & AssessorHaving had more than 30 years in the construction industry John became an Independent Training, Assessment and Verification provider in 2005. John is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their vocational qualifications.
Ruth Grinstead
AssessorRuth has a background in training, recruitment and customer service within the NHS. Ruth has been working with CASL since 2012 supporting individuals to gain their Assessing Vocational qualification
