Fast-track admittance to MCIOB Membership and Chartered Company Membership

One of the key qualifications offered by CASL is the Pearson Edexcel Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management (QCF) which in academic terms is equivalent to a Masters Degree.

The Pearson Edexcel Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management (QCF) is for learners who are leading and controlling projects in construction, and making strategic and complex decisions within the business. Learners can achieve this award in as little as 3 months.

The L7 is internally assessed and there are no formal qualifications required before registering onto it.

Pearson

Pearson is the UK’s largest awarding body offering vocational qualifications that are globally recognised and benchmarked. This Pearson qualification is the only one recognised by the CIOB as meeting professional standards at MCIOB level.

MCIOB

Learners can use the qualification to achieve professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).

Successful holders of this qualification can FAST TRACK their MCIOB application through the Qualified and Experienced Practioners – S/NVQ pathway provided the NVQL7 is less than three years old and the L7 assessor is MCIOB/FCIOB. CASL L7 assessors support and endorse the learner’s application as part of the NVQ L7 assessment fee. One requirement of eligibility for the NVQL7 route to MCIOB is that the L7 NVQ assessor is MCIOB/FCIOB at the time of assessment. All our L7 assessors fit this criteria. As a Centre we have decades of experience in supporting and endorsing our L7 learners PR forms. Learners are supported through the application process as part of the L7 assessment fee.

CIOB Chartered Company

Chartered Company Membership can give an employer the competitive advantage in the tendering process as well as enhancing its credibility and reputation within the sector. To be eligible this includes:

  • 50% of the Board needing to be a Chartered member of a recognised institute
  • appointing a designated responsible officer who is MCIOB and a member of the Company’s Board
